Sam Worthington has been in some really great movies lately.  Most of you know him as Jake Sully from "Avatar" or Marcus Wright in "Terminator Salivation."  He has recently appeared in "Clash of the Titans" a remake of the original film made in 1981.  The graphics are leaps and bounds above its predecessor and is told in a wonderful way.  If you like action films or you are a man, you'll most likely enjoy this film. 

Basically the story is this:  Bad things happen with the Gods.  Perseus, the demigod is born. Perseus' human family is killed.  Perseus vows to avenge their deaths by killing the Kraken, which is a beast made from Hades, the ruler of the underworld.  Hades gives the people of Argos ten days before they "release the Kraken" upon the city.  Perseus meets people to help him and they kill some things.  After the ten days, the Gods "release the Kraken," which couldn't be staged more and the fight goes down.  If you like mythological creatures and giant scorpians, you will love "Clash of the Titans."

The only thing that could have topped this movie, is if you found out that Sam Worthington was an actual robot...Some of you will get my joke. :)
