 This movie is so crazy! Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) have this business where they break into people's dreams and steal their secrets. In an attempt to get his old life back, Cobb makes a deal to "plant an idea" into Robert Fisher, Jr.'s (Cillian Murphy) mind that will change will Fisher's entire life, outlook on life, and the entire world. In order to do so, Cobb recruits Ariadne (Ellen Page) to create a dream world in order to make this possible. The dream world has three layers so it's a dream, within a dream, within a dream. This movie is absolutely amazing. There is so much action, drama, suspense, there's even a love story. All the elements for a great movie are here and I LOVED it! Christopher Nolan should prepare for an obscene amount of nominations in the upcoming award's season. Prepare to have your mind blown. Do NOT go to the bathroom, you may never catch up. Suspense. Action. Drama. Intellect. Love. Part "Matrix" & part "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" combined, and multiplied exponentially. All of that and more, if you go see INCEPTION, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. 07/17/2010 05:42

The film is an urban adventure that succeeds at combining the rhythm of an action movie with the complexities of psychological thrillers. Leonardo's acting is typical, yet still very emotional, where Marion Cotillard is phenomenal. Her performance was way beyond my expectation. Leave a Reply |
